self-designed rain wear

As my day comes to a close, I see people carrying umbrellas and looking wet.

I'd forgotten to check the weather this morning, and now it's raining heavily and I have no protective gear.

Saks is great for many things.

If I'm going somewhere special after work, I can have my makeup done by people who know what they're doing.

If I decide last minute I need a sweater because the AC is so high, I can find the perfect one.

If I need a quick workout, I can go to the second floor and take a class given by ex-cons (I've yet to do this).

If I find I have a stain on my blouse, I can go to Alterations and they will work their magic in getting it out; they are amazing.

And if it's raining outside, and I don't want to buy another raincoat (because I have one I love at home), I can make one.

I go into the area that has gigantic rolls of plastic that are used to wrap clothes that are being shipped.

Another associate helps me.

A hole in the top.

A couple of holes for each arm.

A big shawl collar that can double as a hood.

And I'm good to go.
