Buying online can result in
the wrong item being shipped. It
doesn’t’ happen often, but can.
I once ordered a pair of black
Naot shoes from Zappos, in a style called Port. Instead, I receive a silver
pair of Naots in a style called Palace.
Other than that, I can’t
recall ever receiving the wrong item.
Until today.
My Mobee battery pack
stopped working; the Mobee battery pack looks
like this:
It is placed on the back of
the mighty mouse and allows me
to use my mouse wirelessly. The battery recharges simply by putting it on this
flat, apple-like base.
It’s a fantastic item when
it works. But lately the connection to
my computer keeps getting lost. So I
write to Mobee and they respond immediately with the promise of a replacement battery
back. Today it arrives. It looks like this:
Okay, screwing up a shoe
order with a different style shoe is one thing. But mistaking an ugly T-shirt for a battery pack is something else entirely. I mean, it's not even a T-shirt that's promoting the product!
And guess what? The shipment comes from California, not even Colorado or Washington.
It's been one of those weeks!
