advice from my son

Alexander doesn’t read my blog.  Occasionally he will, but that’s only when I force him to.  As in, “I’m not paying for your cab home unless your read my last post."  Or something like that.

But though he doesn’t read my blog, Alexander loves to make suggestions for improving it.

You really get 1,000 hits a week?  Can you imagine if you had an interesting life how many more hits you would get?

Or

If your blog became a New York Times best-seller, this could be the blurb on the back cover:  Lyn is your average, everyday New Yorker.  Follow her as she encounters annoying people on the subway, difficulties with her building super, and problems with Time Warner Cable.

Or

If someone bought the movie rights, the tagline could be, “When no one else cared enough to fight back, she always did."

This afternoon Alexander returns to school.  I will miss him.
