So Saturday I run some local
errands. Get cider, apples, a sugar-free
slice of apple pie, and some chocolate chip cookies at the Farmer’s Market
around the corner. Later in the day I
head up to the Corner Café and pick up two slices of their angel food cake,
something they now make every other weekend, and something I ate while on
Weight Watchers. Drop by Pam’s who lives
near Corner Café and have some leftover Moroccan food from her daughter’s 18th
birthday celebration the evening before.
Go to Fairway on my way home and re-stock on basics (soup, salad,
vegetables, bread and chicken pot pie).
Lose my debit card somewhere along the way, and the banks aren’t open
again until Tuesday. Now have an
excellent reason to stay home; I have no access to cash so I can’t spend
any. Reviewing my shopping list it’s no
wonder I am hovering around 129. Will
need to re-think what constitutes re-stocking.
