Like a little kid at
Christmas, I wake up in anticipation of the predicted blizzard. Don’t even bother with makeup. It’s a stay-at-home kind of day. Biggest storm in two years. Finally. Could be one of historic proportions. Two different storms merging. Gas running out in areas. Grocery stores running low on supplies. Schools closed. People leaving work early. Programming
interrupted so we can have constant TV coverage.
Even Starbucks closes. And
still. It’s not snowing much. It’s a wet, damp snow outside my apartment. Slippery, but not much accumulation. Prediction now is for the cold, packable snow
to arrive some time between 8pm and 2.
Have a feeling it’ll be a
lot of talk and little white. Time will
tell. My camera has amplified the size of the flakes.
