I had a wired mouse and
found it cumbersome, and so I got the wireless Mighty Mouse for my Mac. Loved the mouse, hated replacing batteries.
So I bought a battery
charger. That was much better but still,
I needed to recharge my batteries every two to three weeks.
Recently I came across
the Mobee Magic Charger for the Apple Magic Mouse. $39 and my problem is solved. I ordered it; while I was on the Cape it arrived.
It took me a week to unpack the
charger because I wasn’t up for learning something new and dealing with the set
up. Today I was ready. My fears were unfounded. There is nothing to learn and set up takes
about two minutes.
My mouse rests on a thin
pad, the size and finish of a white iPhone. A little light shines red when the mouse is not charged, blinking green when it's charging, and still green when it's charged. There is nothing additional to know. No more
battery changing. No more reconnecting
to bluetooth. No more opening the back
of my mouse. I’m a happy girl.
It used to be a new man that
would excite me, now it’s a mouse charger. So sad.
