I left for the
Cape on Tuesday and weighed 123.6. I returned
on Saturday afternoon weighing 128.2. That’s
4.6 pounds. If I starved myself I bet I couldn’t
lose that much in four days.
Today I begin
my starvation diet. At least it is by
comparison to the fried clams, french fries, lobster rolls, chicken with skin,
and the strawberry rhubarb pies I’ve been feasting on.
I wonder how
long it’ll be before I’m back to my pre-Cape weight? More than four days, I’m sure.
