Alexander
and I leave for the Cape on Tuesday, so I collect all the vegetables in my fridge and cut them up. Onions.
Yellow and green zucchini. Pea
pods. And small cherry vine tomatoes. I add black truffle salt and olive oil. It looks beautiful.
Next,
I roast some peppers. Something I did
for the first time just a few weeks ago.
I love the transformation. I add olive
oil and Villa Manodori Acetto Balsamico (worth its exorbitant $55 price) and
season with oregano. The finished product looks less than beautiful but is
still delicious.

And after. |
I
buy the main course: chicken marsala…$14 for a pound; just enough for one meal
for Alexander and two for me. Aside from the main course, it's a nice healthy dinner.
