My one bathroom used to look like this. Ugly but functional.
I am in the process of updating it, and I now have no shower door and no sink.
Washing my hair is a major
challenge. Bathing has replaced showering. And brushing my teeth over my
kitchen sink just doesn’t feel right.
But it’s only for a short time, and the small inconvenience is well worth
it. Like watching a wound heal, I actually enjoy seeing the progress.
A neighbor stops by, sees my bathroom, and has the perfect comment. "It looks like an installation at The Whitney."
