I grab my Nikon SLR with the
long 70-300 zoom that I never use and go to John Jay Park. When Alexander was little, we would come here often. It is only a few short blocks from my apartment. The sandbox, swings and slides remain. But elaborate jungle gyms, climbing walls, and things to hang on and swing from have been added. It would be impossible for a child to get bored here.
Kids are my favorite subject to photograph. Innocent. Guileless. And adorable. A perfect combination. And so I took a few shots.
